The RSNA celebrated their 100th annual meeting in Chicago November 30-December 5. The Kaskaskia College Radiology sophomore students got the opportunity to visit Chicago and experience the RSNA. They took
the Amtrak train to Chicago and stayed downtown on Michigan Ave. It was a wonderful opportunity to visit
the city and experience the technical side of the imaging profession. At the RSNA conference they attended
the following lectures:
ASRT@RSNA 2014: Shoulder Imaging
ASRT@RSNA 2014: Expanding the Role of the Radiographer in the Quality Assurance Triangle
ASRT@RSNA 2014: Dual Energy Computed Tomography
ASRT@RSNA 2014: Stomach Esophageal Pathology
ASRT@RSNA 2014: Practice Standards and Ethical Considerations in Daily Practice
ASRT@RSNA 2014: Advanced Radiographic Practice in Adult Chest Imaging
Students were also required to visit vendors and write a paper concerning the aspect of purchasing equipment
with all the different modalities.
