Project Size: 4 People.
Project: Employed to building a new Data Warehouse for German pharmaceutical market sales
(insurance company, manufacturer medicine etc.). A data warehouse that included
historical versioning for product changes and company take-overs and 4TB worth of
data processing.

The project involved assisting and leading the design of the data warehouse:
o
Analysis of the existing non-data warehouse solution including the bespoke
conversion software tool;
o
Designing a replacement system based on the new and existing user
requirements;
o
Designing dimension and fact model that enables user perspective on
historical data changes i.e. actual vs. historical.
o
Producing Data Cubes in SSAS for regional and national data sets including
optimising a cube to handle 1TB records..
