The Need to Regulate Voltage
 In many applications the input voltage supply is
unstable and can vary over a wide range
 A regulator is often needed to take this unstable
voltage source and convert it to a stable voltage
 This has been achieved for many years
using linear technology, a inexpensive,
though highly inefficient method to
convert and regulate voltage
 Using switching technology, CUI’s V78
series is able to achieve the same results
in a much more efficient manner
