About Tony’s Prostate Cancer Research (“TPCR”) Prostate cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in men, but only five percent of federal research dollars are allocated to it. We hope that prostate cancer hasn’t touched your life, but unfortunately for one in six, it has. Doctors often disagree on effective treatment forcing the patient to choose between quality and quantity of life, thus catapulting many into the throws of confusion and frustration. TPCR hopes to change that. TPCR is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to raise awareness of prostate cancer through both private and governmental sectors. Founded in 2002 by Tony Masraff, owner of Masraff’s on Post Oak Lane, TPCR creates educational awareness and raises funds going toward non-invasive prostate cancer research whose goals are to search for better diagnostic procedures and treatments and to ultimately find a cure.
