rtificial Intelligence (AI) is the intelligence exhibited by machines or
software. It is an academic field of study which generally studies the
goal of emulating human-like intelligence.
IMPORTANCE



create never-ending thought process and collective that could solve
our problems.
the most important technology of the future.
Driving forward key parts of the futurist agenda.
ADVANTAGES:





Can take on stressful and complex work that humans may struggle or
cannot do.
Can complete task faster than a human.
To discover unexplored things.
Less errors and defects.
Function is infinite.
Casem, Marimar F.
DISADVANTAGES:





Lacks the “human touch”.
Has the ability to replace human jobs.
Can malfunction.
Can be misused leading to mass scale destruction.
May corrupt younger generation.
APPLICATIONS:

Used in a wide range of fields including medical diagnosis, stock
trading, robot control law, remote sensing, scientific
History and toys.

LIMITATIONS:

There is no chance of people working in AI producing a machine that
displays true intelligence until they give that machine the ability to
learn from the testimony of other agents.
DOES AI

INTERESTING
“What is AI?” you ask Google. To which it replies, “Did you mean Artificial
Intelligence?” Of course you did. Meanwhile, in the 0.15 sec. It took you to
realize your own stupidity ,an intelligent machine has assembled 17,900,000
result for your consideration- including video, audio, historical records and
the latest headlines- ordered by relevance and reliability 20 years ago, this
type of artificial intelligence would have been the stuff of science fiction, but
now we simply call it “technology”.
Casem, Marimar F.
“This model is inspired by the brain,” she says. “It is a mathematical
formulation of the brain’s neural networks with their adaptive abilities.” The
authors show that when the model is installed in an environment offering
constant sensory stimuli like the real world, and when all stimulus-response
pairs are considered over the machine’s lifetime, the Super Turing model
yields an exponentially greater repertoire of behaviors than the classical
computer or Turing model. They demonstrate that the Super-Turing model is
superior for human-like tasks and learning.

Artificial Intelligence began over 60 years ago as philosophical question
posted by the brilliant English mathematician Alan Turing: “Can machines
think?”In 1955, the words AI first appeared in print in a proposal for a
summer academic conference to study the hypothesis that “every aspect of
learning or other feature of intelligence can in principle so precisely
described that a machine can be made to stimulate it”.
As processing power continous to multiply, we are coming closer to
answering Turing’s question: “Can machine think?”We are teaching machines
to rely less on pure logic and more on probabilities and experience, what we
might call “intuition”. And they are fast learners.
POSITIVE OUTCOMES:
 Increased production and indirectly lowered casts have already
been witnessed in factories and production lines.
 Also pursued human dangerous situations that eliminate
unwarranted death due to potential accidents and unsafe
condition.
 Lives can be live more fully.
 Society begins to change as a whole.

NEGATIVE OUTCOMES:
 Unemployment rate could go up.
 Produce laziness in a part of human.
 If it is used in interpreting than the human mind and it’s capabilities
might go to waste.
 If it is planned, thinking human-like robot feelings and emotions, then
the laws would never be altered encompassing the roles of robots
society.
Would they responsible for their actions? Will they have right as
human?
APPROACHES:
 CLASSSICAL APPROACHES:
(designing the AI)-based on symbolic reasoning with are then
processed according to the rules of logic.

TOOLS MAKE TOOLS”
 CONNECT APPROACHES:
(letting AI develop)-based on neural networks and genetic algorithms.
-evolve better solutions to a problem with every generation.
