The central goals of AI research include reasoning, knowledge, planning, learning, natural language processing, perception and the ability to move and manipulate objects. AI is playing more and more important role in the automation research field, such as modelling, identification, control, estimation, image processing, data fusion, pattern recognition, and other engineering applications.
