PRESENTATION PROPOSAL FORM – DEADLINE 30.09.2016
Social justice, social enterprise and the market:
challenge or opportunity?
13th Biennial Australian and New Zealand Third Sector Research Conference 2016
Calling all researchers with social impact! Are you committed to research that delivers real impact and benefit
for the community? Are you passionate about social justice and developing innovative solutions to address the
world’s most persistent problems? Do you adopt multidisciplinary approaches to the analysis of critical issues
facing civil society? Then the ANZTSR 2016 conference is your forum!
In dynamic and uncertain environments a group of academics have emerged that seek to know more about how
communities can overcome resource pressures and think creatively about addressing social and environmental
problems. Join these like-minded researchers and academics at ANZTSR 2016 to present your own cutting edge
research into the current issues and emerging trends facing the third sector, corporations and governments.
Who will be attending ANZTSR 2016? Academics, researchers, practitioners, activists, policy-makers and those
that work for, or in the social economy in Australia, New Zealand and overseas with a shared interest in nonprofit organisations, communities, Indigenous organisations, volunteering and philanthropy.
We will explore some key questions: How management can contribute to society and the environment in
innovative and sustainable ways while also addressing core skills and knowledge critical to the ever-expanding
social economy?
Proposals for papers, panels and workshop sessions are invited in one or more of the following streams:
Social Enterprise and Social Investment
Privatisation of Human Services
Climate Change and Challenge
New Public Management Policy Trends
Corporate Social Responsibility
