JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION Accountable to: Student Marketing Manager Job Title: Receptionist Assistant Camberwell Contract Length: 12 months Hours per week/FTE: 35 hours Weeks per year: 52 Fixed Term Contract Salary: £23,579 - £27,801 pa (potential to £29,203 Grade: 2 subject to Performance Related Appraisal) College/Service: Camberwell College of Arts Location: Peckham Road Purpose of Role: To provide a warm, friendly, professional and customer-focused welcome To ensure that the reception provides a service that is delivered in a manner which fully supports the College identity and mission. To provide information to a range of clients including prospective and existing students, visitors and other enquirers. Duties and Responsibilities Provide the first line of response to telephone and personal callers seeking information about the College. Response will include provision of information on: courses, application forms, prospectuses, open days, events, school visits, special lectures, etc Identify and communicate with individuals in the College or University who are able to respond to specific, detailed enquiries where such information is not available at reception. Welcome guests and issue visitor security passes including temporary security passes for students and staff as necessary. Effectively delivers basic training or briefings to support understanding or learning Planning and Managing Resources Plans, prioritises and organises own work to achieve objectives on time Teamwork Works collaboratively in a team or with different professional groups Student Experience or Customer Service Provides a positive and responsive student or customer service.
