FOREST ROAD PATIENT GROUP Annual Report to March 2016 The Group was established in February 2011 Meeting are held on the third Tuesday of each month There is an average attendance of 15 members per meeting Good mix of male/female patients Representatives from White British, British Indian, Caribbean, Mauritian and Somali communities Have attracted across the age range, employed, unemployed, self-employed, students, retired professionals During the working year we did a survey on Reception, this was carried out in the waiting room and 100 patients were asked to complete the survey. The Reception team scored very well in the survey but it did highlight some training issues that needed to be addressed. This demonstrates a change brought about by the result of a survey. Group members were invited to attend the training session. It was extremely helpful for the Reception staff to understand from the patient’s point of view and vice versa.
