Dear PFD Investigators, We are writing to solicit information on PFD-related model organisms that your laboratory maintains. We will use this information to create a compendium of model systems that are available on campus. This list will include models of specific diseases, mutants of components of the protein quality control machinery, sensors of proteostasis, or other models that you believe will be of interest to the PFD community. Our hope is that the availability of this resource will facilitate new collaborations and speed scientific discovery. We will place this list on the PFD website and update it at regular intervals. Please fill out the information below, describing models that you are ready to share. In the genetic description, an example may be: Tg model of AD expressing APP Swe mutation from Prp promoter Model Organism (e.g. mouse, flies) Category (disease, proteostasis sensor, PQC pathway component, other) Genetic Description of Model Genetic Background (if relevant) Reference Investigator Contact Information We look forward to hearing back from you and creating this new resource for the PFD community.
