William Brish Planetarium Available Programs List This first list is a list of shows that are available to WCPS classes as well. Keep in mind if choosing one that if you have WCPS students in your group, they may have previously seen one or more of these shows. The “Grade” column shows a range for which these programs are recommended. Dudley Duck shares his first day under the sky. The sun’s motion, moon phases, and star patterns are included. Sunny the dog helps students to learn about the moon and its characteristics. Several songs are used during the lesson. Seasonal stars and stories are included as well as phases of the moon. Follow Zubee as we learn about the sun, moon, planets and constellations. The fire hydrant, “Hydro” helps us learn and keeps us hydrated. Be warned, you WILL get wet!!! This lesson takes students on a tour of the current night sky constellations. They will learn how to find these star patterns, and will use props to act out the stories to help them remember them. A mysterious signal is being beamed to an alien world from somewhere in our solar system! Help Sam Snork find out where this transmission is coming from! Also included is a current night sky tour.
