LUMIPROBE24 Technique Enrichment included LISTERIA SPECIES, MONOCYTOGENES SALMONELLA SPECIES MEDIA ENRICHMENT BROTH RM (Rich Medium) Advantages: RM is a key component of our technique sensitivity. Thanks to its original formulae, it allows a fast revival of stressed microorganisms and their accelerated growth for a shorter enrichment phase. For Listeria , the RM ensures in 22 h and only one step( except for dairy products) the presence of enough bacteria for their detection. For the particular case of detection of Listeria in milk and dairy products, a specific broth has been developed: RML, taking in account the background flora, and the enrichment is run in 2 steps. For the detection of Salmonella, RM is used for the enrichment step, before the selective one. So RM is common in the case of an associated detection of Listeria and Salmonella on the same sample and it allows only one weight.
