Q. When is the name change effective?
A. C
alamos Blue Chip Fund changed its name to Calamos Focus
Growth Fund effective March 1, 2013.
Q. Why was the name changed?
A. T he fund will be managed with a more focused approach. We
believe that a more focused fund may provide an opportunity
for investors to diversify their equity allocation with a more
concentrated strategy. The fund will remain diversified.
Q. Has primary investment strategy changed?
A. N
o, the fund will continue to invest primarily in U.S.-based,
large-cap companies that we believe have the best prospects
sustainable for growth. We favor companies with a global
presence and geographically diversified revenues that we
believe are positioned to capitalize on global economic growth
and global secular trends.
Q. Does this remain a U.S.-focussed strategy?
A. Y
es, the fund is required to invest primarily in equity securities
issued by U.S. companies. Further, the fund is required to
invest at least 80% of its assets in “Blue Chip” companies,
which are firms included in the S&P 500 Index or the Dow
Jones Industrial Average or has a market capitalization of at
least $2 billion. The principal investment strategies outlined in
the prospectus have not changed.

o. The objective, policy and process of the fund remain
unchanged. The fund remains managed by the Calamos
Advisors LLC investment management team.
