Mobilizing Institutional Investors To Develop Africa’s Infrastructure TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTORS/ CONSULTANTS Title of Assignment Location Duration Infrastructure Transactions Advisor/Consultant (part-time) South Africa and/or Kenya Part-time From: April 2017 To: September 15, 2017 Background and Justification In September, 2016, at the 2nd U.S.-Africa Business Forum held in conjunction with the 71st United Nations General Assembly, the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) formally launched an investment partnership for “Mobilizing Institutional Investors to Develop Africa’s Infrastructure” or “MiDA”. The NASP-USAID Partnership seeks to expose U.S. pension funds and other institutional investors to opportunities to co-invest in infrastructure with African counterparts for mutually beneficial gains.
