• In the war they used pistols.
• In WW1 the 2 main sides were France, Great Britain and Russia.
• And Germany, Austria,-Hungary and Italy.
• Italy changed sides in 1915.
• Italy changed sides because Germany was losing and they wanted the
part city of Fiume and they wouldn’t get it if they stayed with
Germany .

guns, Biplanes and submarines.

• Lord Kitchener is a man who leads the
World War 1.
• Lord Kitchener died on the 5th June 1915

• During WW1 the ate fish, rice, beans, hard biscuits and canned meat.

TRENCHES

They would dig trenches to one another and play card
games and after the war, there were many trenches. it
looked likes tons of mazes. It really smells in the trenched
with dead bodies all around you, trench food, rats,
overflowed toilets, sweat and cigarette smoke and gas.

Children were treated very badly and very

• He was killed on June the 28th 1914 in Sarajevo
Bosnia and Herzegovnia.
• His wife was called Sophie and she was killed by the
same man as Franz Ferdinand and at the same time.
• They were killed by Gavrilo Princip
• This event led to World War 1.
