for Saraiva Editora. Books translated: Coffee with Darwin, The Book of the Vampire, Lili’s Fairytale, Angelina
Ballerina series, How to Train your Dragon (Dreamworks), Monsters vs. Aliens (Dreamworks). Translated the
book Senses of Time from Portuguese to English (unpublished). Business translation of reports for Coca-Cola in
Brasil (Norsa Refrigerantes) and Banco Itau.

1992-2002
BankBoston International (subsidiary of Bank of America) – Miami, USA - 2001-2002
As Project Manager, coordinated the implementation of a US$ 10 million integrated banking system in the
Operational area, replacing the previous 10 independent systems. Facilitated the integration of the Operational
and Information Technology areas, investigating and documenting all the operational needs required by the new
system. Trained the 60 employees of the Operations area in the functionalities of the new system.
BankBoston International – Boston, USA - 2000
As Operations Manager, conducted the closing down of the Operations area in Boston, transferring all
operational functions to Miami and eliminating US$ 500 thousand in costs. Dismissed 20 people, including
employees, interns and third-party personnel. Defined the functions that should be transferred to Miami.
Transferred hundreds of millions of dollars from the head office systems in Boston to the Miami subsidiary.
FleetBoston Financial – Boston, USA - 1998-1999
As Project Manager, coordinated two major projects at the head offices: 1) Was in charge of the preparation of
the entire Finance Department at the head office to avoid the Y2K, working together with peers at the former
Fleet Bank before the merger with BankBoston. 2) Prepared a new report to the CEO of BankBoston presenting,
for the first time, an integrated statement of all the costs of all BankBoston projects worldwide. Trained
approximately 200 American employees in the Brazilian culture, from historical aspects to business etiquete,
including information about the Brazilian subsidiary.
BankBoston – São Paulo - 1995-1997
As Product/Account Manager, developed and offered to the market an innovative foreign trade financing product
for financial institutions. This single product generated revenues of over US$ 1 million in only one year. Was
account manager for financial institutions, being responsible for the contacts with banks like Itaú, ABN Amro and
CCF, in addition to the preparation of credit reports.
BankBoston – São Paulo - 1993-1994
As Manager of Credit Information for Managers, solved a long time interface problem between the Brazilian
subsidiary credit systems and the head office in Boston. Zeroed the level of rejection of the information sent to
the U.S., for which he was praised by the chief credit risk officer in Boston. Set up training programs for top
credit management regarding the reports. Coordinated the pilot introduction of a new local credit system
providing training to all end users.
BankBoston – Campinas - 1993-1994
Started career at BankBoston as Credit Analyst of companies located in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
Defended credit for many of those companies before the Central Credit Committee in São Paulo.
Arthur Andersen – Campinas
1989-1992
As Auditor and Corporate Consultant, analyzed several companies located in the interior of the State of São
Paulo, as well as in Southern Brazil. Audited companies such as Carrefour and Mahle. In the auditing of
government and government agencies, developed a methodology to assess bidding processes. Prepared a
summary of the Bidding Law that came to be used by a regional Member of the House of Representatives to
propose amendments to the law.






