HOA and Community Association Recommended Plant List
Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program
Remember to always follow the Right Plant, Right Place principle when choosing plants for your landscape. Creating a plan and
selecting plants that match your yard’s soil, light, water and climactic conditions will ensure landscape success. Not every plant
works for every yard—even in the same subdivision. This list of low-maintenance, low water use plants work well in deed-restricted
communities and stay within many design guidelines.
