MONEY MARKET MONITORING SYSTEM--- (M_III) M-III System For Outstanding Information Set of Instructions The M-III system for outstanding information has been designed to capture outstanding deals information from banks as on 13th March 2004. This system can be downloaded from www.sbp.org.pk/edmd/index.htm. For the convenience of users instructions for downloading the system are also available on the same page. When you enter in the interface of outstanding information the main menu will be displaying the following six links CALL/REPO Deals OUTRIGHT Deals Closing Balances Reports Prepare Disk Exit CALL/ REPO Deals In Call / Repo Deals you are required to enter all Repo\ Call \ Clean outstanding deals as on 13th March, 2004. In order to avoid data capturing errors a check has been applied on Maturity Date i.e. the Maturity Date field will not accept date which is prior to 13th March, 2004. In addition, SBP Open Market Operation outstanding deals are also required to be captured in this format by selecting SBP as a counter party. OUTRIGHT Deals. This screen is designed to capture the security wise and issue wise outright holding position of banks own book and IPS. In this screen you would select the security type enter the issue date, maturity date of security and face/ book value of outstanding amount for each issue. Please note that the above information should include only outright holding position against each security. The Repo and Reverse Repo Holding position should not be included in the above information. Closing Balances This screen is designed to capture the security wise consolidated closing balances of SGLA and IPS maintained by banks with SBP BSC (Bank), Karachi as on 13th March, 2004. Please ensure that this information is reconciled with SBP BSC (Bank), Karachi before submission to Exchange and Debt Management Department (EDMD). REPORTS Through this option banks can generate and view the reports containing all the entered information in the form of reports. Please note that the hard copy of these reports duly stamped and signed along with soft copy (Floppy) must be submitted to EDMD. PREPARE DISK After inserting all requisite information banks are required to prepare disk through this option. Exit Banks can get out of the system by this option. Please ensure the above information must be submitted to EDMD latest by 16th March, 2004.
