The Quantum Eraser

In the movie, "What the Bleep do We Know", the double slit experiment was presented in a cartoon
format. This cartoon showed that the consciousness of the observer collapsed the wave function of an
electron into a particle. Many thinkers have expanded this to imply that we create our own reality, not
with the ego, but with the Higher Self.
Another experiment by Dr. John Wheeler, built upon the double slit data, showed that causality in the
quantum world could go backwards or forwards. As the electron passes through both slits as a wave, it
should remain a wave, and it will if it is not observed. However, if it is observed before it hits the
photographic plate it becomes a particle that only went through one slit and not two. That is right, the
original wave pattern path is erased and a particle path is backwardly created in place of the original
wave path that went through both slits. The timeline is changed.
What does this mean in plain English for us? What is implied here is
that future causes can create current events. What is also implied is
that history, as we know it, could be changed and recreated? If this
is so, is there any data that might suggest this possibility? Yes, I think
so. Let us compare some anecdotal historical events that take place
one hundred years apart. I am referring to the lives of Abraham
Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. Let us look at the following data:















Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
According to Quantum physics this is not that weird. Since it takes an observer to collapse a wave
function into a particle, this begins to form a memory. This memory is a quantum memory in which

things in the future tend to collapse according to established patterns of the past. We call them
coincidences but they are the choices made by a transcendent unified consciousness choosing from the
best possible archetypal pre-existing patterns, sometimes they are a new and creative. Once the choice
is made, we experience it in linear time as a chain of historical events. According to Quantum theory, the
whole pattern was chosen all at once and collapsed in a tangled hierarchal relationship.
Thus, linear cause and effect in linear space time is an illusion that our ego believes to be real because
our ego is based on historical conditioning. Therefore, our true unified consciousness chose this for
Lincoln and Kennedy, but we experience it as unrelated events taking place in linear space time. In fact,
it is possible to change the present due to future causes, this is called backward causality in quantum
physics. It is hard for us to notice these things because our ego is conditioned not to see them. Thus,
through meditation, we suspend the false ego, and allow the one consciousness behind the ego to be
released. This is what the great mystics have always talked about.
What we do not know for sure is if the observer chose the events of the Kennedy assassination and
created the events of the Lincoln assassination, or if the converse observation is the cause of the other.
Quantum memory is not limited to linear space and time. This should give us hope that the true
meaning of the Atonement may imply that all of our past mistakes can be erased from the timeline of
natural history. J. Z. Knight claims to have changed the universal timeline already. If true, there are no
limits anymore.
