Red Box start packs are the most powerful Hand Portable Packs available worldwide. Red Box uses the
latest in military aerospace technology to achieve a very high power to weight ratio. These power packs
are designed for starting of piston, turboprop or turbine aircraft and helicopters in the field or in remote
locations. The power packs are “all weather” units and being modular, can be used in single or dual format.
They can be used or stored in any orientation, even inverted. Cells used are cleared as non-hazardous
cargo for carriage in the aircraft.

BATTERY - Start units 28V DC
Red Box start packs are able to operate in extremes of temperature and have excellent standby
characteristics. They are maintenance free and do not require cycling.
They can be re-celled “on condition” at any Red Box service centre in the world and are designed to
give years of repeated service. They can be recharged from the automatic charging system, which is
supplied in the package.
Standard power pack system includes a portable power unit, a rugged multistage electronic charger
and heavy duty cables with aviation or vehicle connectors.

Continuous - 14/28V DC Power Supplies
Compact, lightweight and highly portable power
units. Designed to give continuous high quality
DC power for crew training, aircraft servicing in the
hanger, on the ramp or in the field.
RBSC & RBPS Range
These continuous high power models are
ideal for diagnostic work, pre flight checks or
for continuous powering of equipment during
operations, without draining the onboard
aircraft batteries.
There is a range of built in safety features and
the units are simple to use. As standard the
units will produce a steady 28.5 Volts up to the
fully rated output current with power factor
correction.
The power supplies are multi fan cooled with
inbuilt thermal management for operation
up to 50°C ambient environments. The safety
features include; Internal AC Residual Current
Protection, Overload and Short Circuit
protection. The power modules conform
to EMC standards for noise emissions and
immunity. Delivered as standard this unit is
supplied with a 2m heavy duty lead, fitted
with a 3 pin NATO connector for direct
aircraft connection, but extra extension and
alternative format connections are available.

Combination - Battery Start and continuous 28V DC Power
This is an extremely compact, weight balanced design, hand
manoeuvrable on pneumatic tyres. These GPUs are specially
designed for heavy duty starting of turbine and turboprop
aircraft. They provide 50, 100, 150, 225 amps of continuous
power at 28.5 volts DC. For use at fixed bases or on remote
stations. These units can operate in extremes of temperature
and their power cells have excellent standby characteristics
and do not need cycling. The essentially dry lead acid batteries
are maintenance free and are replaceable “on condition”.
A 50, 100, 150 or 225 amps 28.5 volt power supply/charger
is installed within the GPU. This can also be used to provide
continuous filtered power for general workshop use, pre-flight
checks, avionics work, weapon systems checks or to recharge
the internal batteries of the unit. Supplied ready to use out
of the box, all units are complete with a heavy duty aircraft
cable fitted with a 3 pin NATO connector and a suitable mains
lead. TC3000 units are available in 2 battery capacities and
4 continuous ratings to deal with most customer demands,
however, custom configurations are always available. All
TC3000 units feature a digital microprocessor control system
that monitors several parameters and displays the voltage,
current and system status. This also monitors and controls the
voltage output and the automatic charging of the batteries.

The RBC5000 series is designed to be extremely
user friendly and offer excellent power to
weight and size ratio. The RBC5000 is over
powered; this means you can guarantee the
power this unit offers. The RBC5000 provides up
to 900 Amps continuously and up to 3000 Amps
peak, it comes in an IP54 case and is capable of
working at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C.
The RSC5000 is designed specifically for Aircraft
and can easily be moved around the hanger.

RBC6000 models offer a remarkably compact, quiet
and robust converter. This means that personnel
may work in close proximity to them without the
tiring noise normally associated with 400Hz 60Hz

Avionic Measurement Supply NG Kit
The Kit AMSK24-00NG contains 68 pieces of conventional and Avionic specific test
and measurement equipment for use in the aviation service field.
The kit contains a DMM designed for avionic testing (it may also be used for insulation measurement) are housed within the case whereby each component space is
labelled.
This “Tool Control” facility is a vital part of the kit. The special Aero leads are displayed
in the lid of the case for initial visual inspection but thereafter can be stored in the
respective colour coded tool rolls, which are supplied within the kit.

Avionic Measurement Supply Kit
The Kit, Avionic Measuring Supply includes next to a Digital Multimeter (Gossen or

roll, you can measure a distance of 7.5m.
SnakeCam Inspection Camera
SnakeCam inspection systems are high quality, low cost, easy to use visual inspection
tools. With a variety of versatile kits to choose from, SnakeCam will make any maintenance inspection an easier process.
The SnakeCam 3 display has the ability to record up to 26 hours of video, capture
images, zoom in, flip and rotate the images, and record voice data. By using an SD
card you can easily transfer data to a PC by either inserting the card into the PC or
connecting the monitor to the PC via a USB cable. The SnakeCam 3 display is also
waterproof to a depth of 6 metres. SnakeCam display screens are protected by a
Lexan outer cover.
SnakeCam has 3 cameras available. The standard camera which has a 30mm diameter, the ScopeCam is a small diameter camera which has is 8mm in diameter, both of which have inbuilt LED’s and the
C Mount camera which can be used to attach SnakeCam to virtually any model of Borescope or Fibrescope for seeing
through small apertures. With cable lengths of up to 500 metres, extendable poles up to 7.8 metres, and many other
accessories, SnakeCam can be used for a large variety of hard-to-reach inspections.
