High-Precision power units for diagnostic & test beds
The Rosenheim manufacturer of precision power units, the company Heinzinger electronic
GmbH presents a complete programme comprising power unit solutions for test bed
construction at electronica. The current manufacturing programme ranges from the low
voltage lab power unit to performance power units right up to high voltage modules and–
power supplies. A multiplicity of options and interface solutions are available particularly
for the use of these devices in constructing diagnostic and test beds. The manufacturing
portfolio is also complemented with the energy recovery system "Heinzinger Energy
Recovery" as performance power units. This is an interesting and future-proof solution

of power supply solutions for demanding users, developed and manufactured in
Rosenheim. As "low voltage power units", the devices are available in the voltage classes
from 6V to 600V, for currents from 0.3A and >10,000A depending on the unit series. The
precision power units function in this voltage range in the precision classes
between<0.001% (e.g. PTNhp series and 0.1%. Depending on the application, robust
and proven linearly-regulated power units or compact switch mode power units are
available. Also in the high voltage range, for voltages from 600V to >300,000V, a
comprehensive assortment of products is available in these high precision classes (e.g.
PNChp<0.001%). From the 19" cassette to the HV modules and devices as a 19" plug-in
module or tabletop unit right up to power supply systems, Heinziger delivers a broad
selection of devices for integration in diagnostic and test processes. The further
expanded standard programme enables a rapid and prompt reaction to a wide range of
demands. A broad spectrum of options and accessories provide for easy adjustment of
the power units to the respective diagnostic and test bed applications. By means of the
dynamic control behaviour of the devices, a Heinzinger power unit can be easily
employed under a wide range of load conditions. A multiplicity of digital and analogue
interfaces also represent standard options, which have been currently expanded with
further interesting solutions.
