ALLAGraduateStudentPaperAward* TheAssociationforLatinaandLatinoAnthropologists(ALLA)invitessubmissionsforthe ALLAGraduateStudentPaperAward.Thisawardisgivenforthebestoriginalpaperthat addressesatleastoneofthefollowing:1)issuesrelatedtoUSLatinas/osandtheir communitiesfromananthropologicalperspective;2)researchconductedbyLatina/o anthropologists,howeverdefined. TheawardisopentoindividualswhoaregraduatestudentsandALLAmembersatthetime ofsubmission(includingABDs).Toparticipateinthecompetition,pleasesendapdf versionofyourpaperandacoverletterwiththepapertitle,theauthor’snameand affiliationtoallagradpaper@gmail.com.Papersshouldbenomorethan5000words(20 double-spacedpages)inlength. PapersubmissionswillbereadbyacommitteeofALLAmembers.Thewinnerwillreceive acashawardof$350andthehonorablementionwillreceiveacashawardof$150.Both willbeannouncedattheALLAbusinessmeetingattheannualconferenceoftheAmerican AnthropologicalAssociation,aswellasinAnthropologyNews,ontheALLAwebsiteand socialmedia.
