Kerite High Voltage (HV) underground cable is engineered for long service life and is backed by complete factory and technical support services, with a commitment to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry. As part of their high voltage underground and specialty cable offering, Kerite has always been fairly aggressive when it comes to minimum order quantities (MOQs) and product delivery lead times. And now, with a revitalized brand and a new leadership team focused on results, Kerite is formalizing their commitment to the lowest MOQs and the shortest lead times in the industry. Industry norms for MOQs for high voltage power cable typically range from 5,000 to as much as 10,000 feet for an order, with lead times of 18-20 weeks. With their new initiative, Kerite is setting their minimum order quantity at 3,000 feet for their high voltage underground and specialty cable products, with a maximum lead time of 12 weeks from order placement to shipment of the cable from the factory. If a utility or industrial customer is also looking for a turnkey engineering and installation package from a single-source, Kerite also offers their Kerite Cable Services (KCS) solution to handle any high voltage cable challenge. Customers that choose to utilize KCS in addition to their Kerite HV cable order, will be able to order any length of cable necessary, even an order as short as 100 to 200 feet. In addition, lead times can also be negotiated, with as little as 4 weeks turnaround, depending on order size and cable type. “The primary driver for the MOQ initiative is to get the customer exactly what they want, and to ultimately save them time and money.” says Tanya Lauer, Vice President Global Sales for Kerite HV. “Through this program, Kerite has already saved many customers hundreds of thousands of dollars in cable costs and warehouse expenses. Those are some pretty big numbers and our initiative is designed to be aggressive, so we’re excited to be able to offer these solutions to impact our customers’ bottom line.” ### About Kerite Kerite, founded in 1854 and headquartered in Seymour, Connecticut, is a member of the Marmon Utility Group of companies.
