SUMMARY CURRICULUM VITAE Research Interest: Development of automated procedures for the determination of all kinds of analytes in biomedical, pharmaceutical, and environmental samples using sophisticated chromatographic and electrophoretic separation techniques in combination with on-line sample preparation, derivatization, and reaction-detection systems. The emphasis is on the development of new online sample preparation techniques (e.g., dialysis, immunoaffinity, solid-phase isolation, columnswitching, supercritical fluid extraction), automated pre-column derivatization techniques, combined separation techniques (e.g., chromatography and electrophoresis), detection techniques (e.g. laser-induced fluorescence), and post-column derivatization techniques.
