Local Kids to Surrender Halloween Treats at Candy Buy-back Weigh-in
Proceeds to Benefit (name of charity)
What: Local orthodontist ‘buys-back’ Halloween candy from to raise funds for (insert charity name
here) and to help patients reap benefits from their trick-or-treating efforts while avoiding the tricks that
treats can play on braces and other orthodontic “appliances”

Why: To celebrate National Orthodontic Health Month (October), city orthodontist DR.
NAME/PRACTICE NAME invites (who can participate) to trade in Halloween candy, which can play
tricks on orthodontic treatment, for the treat of helping others! Dr. NAME will pay patients $X for each
pound of candy, up to X pounds of candy per person and give a matching donation to (insert charity
