Bloom’s Taxonomy Romeo and Juliet William Shakespeare Act I Purpose of the Strategy Bloom’s taxonomy can be used to create questions that aid students in discovering what they know and comprehend about a given topic. It also allows them to utilize higher order thinking skills to answer questions that require them to apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information. Knowledge Separate the characters presented in Act I into one of three groups: Capulet, Montague or Neutral. (Capulet: Capulet, Lady Capulet, Juliet, Nurse, Tybalt, Sampson, Gregory, Anthony, Potpan Montague: Montague, Lady Montague, Romeo, Benvolio, Abraham, Balthasar Neutral: Prince, Paris, Mercutio) Comprehension At the beginning of the play, with who is Romeo sick with love?
