► PLANTS ARE LIVING THINGS

Plants are living things. They carry out three life processes: interaction,

adapt to their environment. Some plants grow very quickly, like geraniums. Some,
like oak trees, grow slowly. Plants grow everywhere: on mountain tops, in fields,
in gardens, in water and even in deserts. Plants make their own food. They use

Fruits
Different types of plants produce different types of fruit.
We can classify fruit into two groups:
 Fleshy fruits are juicy because they contain a lot of water. Melons and
