Titans who'd taken control of the world from
Ouranos (god of the universe) and Gaia
(goddess of the earth)
Kronos was afraid of his children overthrowing
him the way he overthrew Ouranos, so he ate
his children.
Kronos & Rhea
When Zeus was born, Rhea hid him and fed Kronos a
rock. When Zeus was grown up, he returned to overthrow
Kronos with the help of his brothers, Poseidon and
Hades.
Kronos was cast into the pit of
Tartarus for all eternity.
Was born to the Titan Kronos, and his wife Rhea.
Eventually defeated Kronos with the help of his
two brothers.
God of the Underworld and the dead, also god
of the wealth of the earth (like jewels); Roman
name: Pluto
Queen of the Gods, married to

God of the skies, the air,
storms; Roman name: Jupiter
Very jealous of Zeus' messing around, spent a
lot of time trying to punish him. Was famous for
having been Heracles' worst enemy.

pomegranate seeds, forcing her to return to the Underworld for 6
months of the year.
