Template Instructions
• General Instructions
– Slides will be printed – so only static content may
be used in slides (no videos). But we should be
able to display videos on the kiosk – let me know
if you have a video to display, but don’t put it on
your powerpoint slides.
– Formating Rules

Make it look like the example slides!
Stick with white, Arial 18 or 28 point font (44 for titles).
Use a 0.05” white border on all pictures/figures.
Talk to me before doing anything “out of the ordinary.”

• For student research projects
– Delete all slides except the two which are titled
“Undergraduate Research,” one which tells us
who you and your advisor are, and one which
shows us your research.
– If you are a grad student, change the title to
“Graduate Research”
– Replace student photo, title, abstract, student
name, advisor name, and figure with your
photo,title, etc.
– Slide Submission
• Save the new file with your name as the file name, and
send to [email protected]

We plan to split and
recombine the quantum
wave-functions of
calcium atoms. From
the resulting
interference, we will be
able to perform stringent
tests of relativity and
search for drifts in the
fundamental constants
