Call for Tutorial Proposals – PAKDD09 PAKDD 2009 The 13th Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining April 27-30, 2009, Bangkok, Thailand URL: http://itpe.siit.tu.ac.th/pakdd2009/front/show/call-for-tutorial-proposal The 13th Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (PAKDD-09) is a major international conference in the areas of data mining and knowledge discovery. It provides an international forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their new ideas, original research results and practical development experiences from all KDD-related areas, including data mining, data warehousing, machine learning, databases, statistics, knowledge acquisition and automatic scientific discovery, data visualization, causal induction and knowledge-based systems. The conference website is at http://www.pakdd2009.org. PAKDD-09 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. It is expected that there will be many attendees with strong interests in learning about all aspects of data mining. As an integral part of PAKDD-09, we invite proposals for tutorials in all areas of data mining, including introductory and overview tutorials as well as state-of-the-art tutorials and data mining in-practice tutorials. Each tutorial will be presented in a 3 hours session.
