Installing the Electrical power Supply
- Please check accepted layout drawing for purchased system's power requirement.
- Distribution Panels, Circuit Breakers, cables and conduits for electricity should be prepared by customer
- Power should be supplied from a line separate from industrial equipments that produce electrical noise.
- Ground rod should be installed next to the laser and CNC cabinet. Grounding Resistance: less than 10 OHMS

The air inlet of the compressor must be free of solvent vapors and aerosol. To avoid any contamination by the compressor, an oil
free screw compressor with a compressed air upgrade (air dryer) is required. The air distribution manifold must be free of
contamination, and must not have an oilier. If the above standards can not be set, for the output window and beam path air supply
a nitrogen or compressed air gas bottle, or tank or better an autonomous screw compressor with a compressed air upgrade (air
dryer) must be attached.
*Note: Customer must prepare following:
- Regulators, Fittings, Laser Gas, Assist Gas
- Compressed Air Plumbing, Air Filtering System (Dryer, Cooler, Filters if necessary)
- Contact to HAN KWANG Service Center to check Installation Kit.

Laser Gas
Laser gas quality is very critical to the performance and reliability of laser system. During installation, more gas is used than in normal
operation.
- PRAXAIR LaserStar 5.0 or LaserStar 5.5
- Polyethylene hose OD 5/16” with 50ft
- 1-800-333-3333 or visit www.praxair.com
Assist Gas
Oxygen: To cut Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
Nitrogen: To cut Stainless Steel and Aluminum with an oxide free.
Shop Air: To cut thin Stainless Steel and Aluminum at reduced costs.

Chiller
-
Must use distilled water only: 70Ga
Water treatment: Ask for detail to HANKWANG SERVICE CENTER
The chiller must be located so that an adequate flow of air maintained. (4 Foot from the wall)
If the chiller is installed in a narrow area or where clearance between the top of the chiller and the ceiling is minimal, exhaust air from the
chiller may increase ambient temperature over the highest allowable ambient temperature of 104° F, and the safety device will be
activated. In this case, install a duct and exhaust air from the chiller to an area that does not affect ambient temperature (see illustrations).
CAUTION: Make sure the duct has enough width without obstructions inside. Improper selection
and installation of a duct may activate a safety device and shutdown the chiller.
Provide one duct per vent
Minimum Cross-Sectional Area B x W (m2)
Minimum Air Flow Capacity (m3/min) (50/60HZ)
3.5 sqft
6568 CFM
BENT DUCT
The size of B x W is same as an upright duct.
Each vent length sould not exceed 6 feet.
