With another student and my professor I led several workshops on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It and Macbeth with French students. We adapted several drama games to be relevant and accessible for the students and directed them in scenes from these plays. • Tour Manager’s assistant, Watermill Theatre, 2007. Accompanied Story of a Great Lady and Mickey Salberg on tour round village halls and theatres. I helped with get-ins and get-outs, and occasionally operated the lights in the show • Part-time Cabaret Singer, Kirby House Enterprises - 2008 - Present. I entertain American guests on their final night of week-long tours of English gardens. I sing about twelve songs of my choice - a mixture of American and English, old and new • Assistant Props Manager, Combe Evenings, 2008. I worked with professionals to help put together a three night run of a new musical. I was in charge of sourcing several props and setting them for the performances. I also had a walk-on part. • Teaching Assistant, Maru-a-Pula School - Botswana 2008. I spent a term assisting in the sports and music department. I also helped out with extra-curricular activities; at an SOS children’s Village, the local animal sanctuary and I am Special School, for example. In my spare time, I devised/directed a play with the 11/12 yr olds and performed in My African Dream and the Bushfire festival in Swaziland. • Participant on Raleigh International in Costa Rica 2008.
