Direction for using Bionano with tapioca 1. Preparing period– in the period of preparing soil for grow tapiocas in order to cover pants sewage from the previous crop. They can all provide the plants with nutrients directly and indirectly. Also, they can create soil balancing, maintain and influencing the balance of the whole ecosystem. Moreover, the additional advantage of Bionano is able to reducing rice pest so farmers no need to put more pesticide unlike previous time. In this farm the farmer did not use Bionano as the whole farm; she selected poor soil area for demonstration. It means that the majority area of rice farm she used chemical fertilizer and put more pesticide. Thus, some pest could come to demonstration area. Inconclusion, the farmer has been satisfied with the results because the farmer got double outcome from 900kg/rai to 1,800 kg/ rai. What is Probiotics? PROBIOTICS are bacteria that help maintain the natural balance of organisms in the intestine. Definition by FAO/WHO probiotics are “Live microorganism which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host” The microorganism world in the decade Probiotic – the modern vitamin for animals One of the most important agricultural industries in Thailand is livestock. Livestock industry has revenue from exporting around 10,000 millions baht per year. Now the livestock business in Thailand has gradually expanded which drives the farm businessmen feel a necessary to develop factors in their production process. Animal food and chemical products are one of the most important factors in the production line. The problem is the current food for animals has low nutrition; therefore, the solution is to make use of the micro-organic which has the quality to retain the growth of bad microorganic which cause decreases and the quality to survive in animal abdomen which make the animals healthier. We call this kind of micro-organic “Probiotics” or the biological vitamins. There are two categories of Probiotics: 1. When the waste is digested and the lactic acid is produced. The lactic acid will destroy and stop the bad microorganism to grow. The life of probiotics in the stomach will expand throughout the abdomen which will block off the bad microorganisms i.e. bacteria and virus to live on the wall. Because of that the probiotic is adulterated thing in the abdomen, it attracts macrophage to come. This encourages the immunity system on a particular area. Additionally, the probiotic also has an ability to produce necessary substance in animals i.e. amino acid, lactic acid and vitamins. Beside the production of lactic acid and protect the bad maccroorganics to grow and live on the abdomen wall, probiotic also produces antibiotic which has an ability to destroy the bad maccroorganics that cause diseases in animal. The use of probiotics, therefore, has helped the farm businessmen to stop using the chemical substances and antibiotics. This also improved the quality of pork meat without chemical adulterated and antibiotics. It also helps reduce the production cost and capital up to a thousand million a year. We used BioNano in 3 houses,and even with 43-days-old chicken (house#1),there was only little smell. In house #2 we used Microguard, a similar product as BioNano, but freeze dried. It was just as effective, but was more expensive. The difference in litter quality between the house #3 and the house #4: the litter near the cooling pad in house 3 was more wet and with more surface laver compared to #4. The hock burns was reduced from 53% to 16% in house#3, probably caused by an interaction between BioNano and Probiotics Hock burn: Wounds in the sole of the feet caused by ammonia. FCR: how much feed for producing 1 kg chicken. In this case we give 1.76 kg feed for producing 1 kg chicken Probiotic (house#3): The mortality (dead+culled) is29% lower in house#3, possibly asan effect of Probiotics, The house# 3 produced approx. 2700 kg more chicken than house#4. The reason for this extra weight seems to be the Probiotic. Conclusion BioNano: Is effective in the dose which the following application: once a week from day 0 to day 33, using a good quality backpack sprayer. Dosing: 1 liter BioNano + 1liter booster in 40 liter water for 23.000 chickens (approx.1 liter ready-mix each 50 m2 floor.) 25 In general, this crop has been a very good crop with low mortality and rather low FCR-despite the hot season. House # 3 produced 2785 kg more chicken meat, and 229 more chickens in numbers. The chicken are stronger when using Probiotics,because the mortality is lower.And the hock-burns are reduced from 53% to 16%,probably because the Probiotices is used together with BioNano. The expensive raw materials for pig foods have made the majority of Thai pig farmers go for cheaper ingredients. Some of which considered microorganism called Probiotics imported from different countries in Asia, Europe and America as a new ingredient in the food, hoping for cheaper costs. The most expensive factor for every kind of animal farms is the food for feeding the animals. In the past Nakon Pratom is the biggest area for pig farm implantations. A Thai television channel 11 shot a good story of a pig farmer who applied the new ingredient called NanoProbiotics to mix with his current ingredients to feed his pigs. He has applied this ingredient for only a month and a half when he noticed a considerate positive change in the farm. Mr Somkiat Chomchuen, the farm owner, said “When the pigs ate the food with the nanoprobiotics mixture, the changes in the farm are that the extremely bad smell from the farm which used to annoy the neighborhood and made a damage to the environment, has been decreased surprisingly. The huge number of flies surrounding the farms has also been reduced as never before. When the Bionano Agri Industry Ltd., owned by a Thai literate, Dr. Jaroonkiat Patharamontreesin, who has successfully produced the Bionano to treat the polluted water, announced its success, there were some farmers who wanted to test if this microorganism can be applied for pig foods in their county including Nakon Pratom, Ratchaburi and Suphanburi which are the three provinces yet biggest county for pig farms. Mr Ratchai Channitikul, a pig farmer in Suphanburi, has been using this new product for two months with great impacts and has promoted it to a few other farmers that he knows: one in Nakon Pratom and one in Ratchaburi. The results of the use of this product are not that it makes it cheaper for the farm capital; however it improves the health of the pigs. When the pigs’ metabolism 27 got better by digesting the microorganism in the ingredient or the nanobiotics, they eat more. The bad smell of their ordure is also vanished because the microorganism destroyed and stopped the bacteria expansion in the colon. We also increase Lisene which makes the meat red without using “Beta organic”, which is a chemical ingredient with quality to raise the pig’s heart-rate which also causes a cancer and heart disease in human who consumed it. 28 Case 3 Rattanachai Channitikul, pig farms owner in Suphanburi Rattanachai mentioned about the Ministry of Commerce mandates to support the pig farms in Thailand that the price of the meats should be according to means of the market that there are both increase price and decrease price. However, in the past the price of the pork has been incredibly low and a lot of the farm owners have lost their benefits. They were affected by both the expensive materials and rare materials, the selling price of the pork was also very low. Additionally a hundred thousands - a million numbers throughout the country - of pigs died of the outbreak of the PED, the cycle of pork was lapped. This is a problem that pig farms had encountered for a long time last year. Rattanachai continued that early this year in January 2008 I became to know the Biotectian macrobiotic who is from Suphanburi and who gave him the Nanobiootic to use with his pigs in the farm. From this he experimented and changed the ingredients for his pig food using nanobiotic to blend with his existing ingredients. This reflected in reduction of the bad smell and a number of flies around his farm. His pigs got a lot healthier. The breeder pigs produced more milk and caused the days period for weaning shorter.
