Cell Analogy
Your project will have two parts. The first part will be to match the parts of the city in
the analogy given to you with the parts of the cell. The second part of the project will
be for you to create your own analogy of the cell using a different model (you may not
use the cookie factory example in the textbook). Some ideas might be: a school, a
house, or anything you can imagine!
*Do NOT use the definition of nucleolus from your CPO textbook, Focus on Life
Science. Use the following definition of nucleolus instead: The nucleolus is where
ribosomes are made.
