Connecting to CareConnect Playground with Citrix Web
Interface from a Remote PC
To connect to the training playground using a computer outside of the Mednet system (and from your
home computer), you will have use the Citrix Web Interface. Here are instructions for how to download
Citrix and then access the CareConnect training playground.
1. Open Internet Explorer and launch https://webapps.ccnet.ucla.edu
2. Log on using your AD credentials. *NOTE* Do not use the format “ad\username”
3. If you are prompted to install the Citrix client, click the check box by the license agreement (if
you agree) and click INSTALL.
4. At the first Security Warning, click the Run button.

5. At the second Security Warning, click Run.
6. Installation will continue.
7. Click the TPLY Folder and then click the Epic TPLY Hyperspace icon.
8. Login with the User ID and Password from the Tent Card you received in class.

9. If you have problems downloading the client in step 3, click this link to download and install the
client at the bottom of the website.
