English language courses. We provide pre-university programmes including ‘A’ Level, International Baccalaureate
and University Foundation, as well as English Language study, to the growing market of international students
seeking to enter the world’s leading universities.
The Group operates under four different brands: CATS College – high schools in Cambridge, Canterbury and
London, and Boston, USA; Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts (CSVPA) – Art & Design, Drama and Music
courses in Cambridge, UK; ONCAMPUS – teaching foundation courses to university degrees on campuses in the
UK, USA and mainland Europe; and Stafford House – year-round English Language schools in Brighton, Canterbury
and London, and Study Holiday centres across the UK and the USA for juniors.
Job overview
The Marketing Executive works closely with and supports the Marketing Managers to deliver the strategic and
tactical marketing plan for Group. The Marketing Executive is involved in all aspects of marketing, in particular the
creation, updating and dissemination of marketing communications-related activity.
Person Specification
The Marketing Executive will be creative and proactive with the drive and ambition to develop a career in
marketing. Able to work on their own initiative, the ideal candidate will have a positive and positive approach, and
the confidence to put forward their own ideas when appropriate. In particular, a flair for design and ability to grasp
digital marketing is essential.

Key responsibilities and capabilities
Marketing communications
• Manage the design and print process through external agencies to deliver new marketing collateral on time
and within budget.
• Develop and deliver marketing communications as required across all available channels (including: e-zines,
website, printed collateral, social media, magazines, banners)

Ensure that brand guidelines and templates are maintained and updated as required.
Monitor the correct use of the brand and provide support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that
the brand guidelines are adhered to.
Assist with the sending of e-shots through dedicated e-marketing management system as required.
Manage the marketing and news content on the company intranet and ensure website content is up-to-date.
Assist in the gathering of communications content, including developing marketing claims from our student
results.
Organise and communicate student & staff profiles and testimonials
Administrative duties
• Manage stock of marketing collateral, and co-ordinate the process for delivery of new materials from the
printer to the distribution company.
• A variety of projects and tasks will arise from the Marketing Team requiring your support, these may include:
 Organisation of picture libraries and filing systems for Marketing purposes
 Sending of marketing materials to customers or overseas offices
 Liaising with international offices at Partner Universities
 Bookings of external suppliers, such as photographers
 Supporting agent visits
 Organisation of conference packs for events
Design
• Create marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, exhibition stands and newsletters.
• Systematically update both online and offline materials when changes are required.
• Work closely with centre-based staff to create and update student handbooks and pre-arrival information for
all centres, ensuring consistency of brand and content across all centres.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the status of the post, as deemed necessary by the Marketing
Director or Marketing Managers
Required skills, knowledge and abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
 Proficiency in using Indesign and other software packages for design work
 Knowledge of digital tools and marketing
• Able to work independently and liaise with colleagues and customers from across the world
• Self-motivated with an ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Flexible approach to working, excellent time management and organisational skills
• A friendly and professional manner and appearance
• Ability to write effectively for an international audience
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage many stakeholders
• Able to travel nationally and possibly internationally

Education and experience
• Educated to degree level or beyond, ideally with a graphic design and/or marketing-related qualification.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar marketing services role, ideally within the Education sector.
