Java Installation Instructions
Step 1:
Go to the link below and download “JDK 6
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
You will see the JDK 6 download page
You will be prompt to login – you don’t have to, so just click on the “X” on the top right
or the “Skip this Step” near the bottom
You will then see the download screen. Click on “Save File” to save the installation files
on your computer
Click on the accept license agreement on the top left.
Then proceed to download the very first platform
Windows Platform – J2SE™ Development Kit 6.0 (download newest version)
Window Offline Installation Multi-Language approx 50 mb
Once you have finished saving. Please run or open the program and install.
You will need to agree to their license
Take all defaults and wait for it to finish
Once the installation is done, click “Finish”.
Next Install Dr Java
Go to http://drjava.net/
Download the Jar file (first one on the top)
Pick a server closet to your home.
Download it, and then run it.
Run the file you just downloaded:
You are done!
