Symbiosis- A relatuionship in which two organisms
live in close association and benefit both organisms.
Points of the Theory- Evolution of Eukaryotic
Cells:
1. A smaller prokaryotic cell was engulfed by a
larger prokaryotic cell.
2. Instead of killing the smaller cell they form a
symbiotic relationship with each other.
Evidence to support the theory:
-Mitochondria and chloroplasts were found to have
their own hereditary information (chromatin).
