Genomic Diversity Laboratory Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology University of Michigan Sample Submission - Qubit Instructions: (1) Please submit 2-3 µl of product per sample using separate tubes. The GDL provides 0.5 ml tubes exclusively used for Qubit quantification. If you use these, tubes, you can add between 1 µL to 20 µL of product per tube (use whole numbers). If equal volume of product is added in all samples, write the volume added per tube on the submission form. If different volumes are added, please write the amount on each tube. Alternatively, samples can be submitted in single 0.2 ml PCR tubes or PCR strips, although we also accept 1.5 ml tubes. (2) Assign each tube a sequential number (no more than 2-3 digits). And, include your initials on the first and last tubes. (3) All sample leftovers will be discarded unless requested by the user during submission. If samples are submitted using the tubes provided by the GDL, they will not be returned and all tubes will be discarded. (4) Samples will be processed within 48hrs and results will be e-mailed. (5) If technician is not available at the time of submission. Place samples in the fridge located in room 86 (GDL Drawer) and email request to [email protected].
