IGF1 PROTEIN TARGET DESCRIPTION:
Synonym Names for IGF1 protein: IGF1; IBP1; IGF-IA; Somatomedin-C; Mechano growth factor; MGF;
Insulin-like growth factor IA
Function: The insulin-like growth factors, isolated from plasma, are structurally and functionally related to insulin
but have a much higher growth-promoting activity.
Subcellular Location: Secreted.
Disease: Defects in IGF1 are the cause of insulin-like growth factor I deficiency (IGF1 deficiency) [MIM:608747].
IGF1 deficiency is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by growth retardation, sensorineural deafness
and mental retardation.
Similarity: Belongs to the insulin family.
RECOMBINANT HUMAN INSULIN-LIKE GROWTH FACTOR I reacts with human.
OMIM: 147440; gene. [NCBI / EBI]
608747; phenotype. [NCBI / EBI]
Pathways:
KEGG pathway: Focal adhesion 04510
KEGG pathway: Glioma 05214
KEGG pathway: Long-term depression 04730
KEGG pathway: Melanoma 05218
KEGG pathway: Prostate cancer 05215
KEGG pathway: mTOR signaling pathway 04150
Reactome Event:Hemostasis 109582
Order Confirmation: Sales order confirmations are sent out upon the receipt of all orders. Please contact
GenWay if you do not receive a confirmation within 1 business day of submitting your order.
Precautions: IGF1 protein is for in vitro research use only. Not for use in diagnostics or therapeutic procedures.
Important Notes: During shipment, small volumes of IGF1 protein vial. For products with volumes of 200 µL or
less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop
centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container’s cap. Actual concentration, volume and quantity will be printed
on the vial's label. Please refer to the vials label for this information.
