Idea 2: Using your spelling words as the lines in a drawing, “draw” a scene on a blank sheet of paper. Write each spelling word five times as you complete your picture. Idea 3: Using different color pens or markers, write each spelling word as a complete word, but write each syllable in the word in a different color. For example, the word “mythical” might have myth written in red, I written in blue, and cal written in orange. Idea 4: Write each spelling word in a sentence. Each sentence must be at least 10 words in length. Idea 5: Write a paragraph which contains all spelling words. Imagine that your paragraph will be used as a test so you should deliberately misspell ten of the words for classmates to identify and correct. Be clever. Don’t make the errors obvious. Idea 6: Alphabetize the words, and then write them in reverse alphabetical order.
