CHICKEN POX Everybody has heard about Chicken Pox, and many have seen the scars at the same point. But do you know what is Chicken Pox is? By the way, chicken pox has absolutely nothing to do with chickens. The name is base on the latin word cicer means chickpeas, as the blisters were thought to resemble chickpeas on the skin. Chicken pox is a viral infection caused by Varicella – Zoster Virus (VZV). This virus is part of the Herpes virus family and is not affected by antibiotics (as these only by bacteria).
