A Bill to Support Undeveloped Country’s Informal Economies

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The U.S. government will support business institutions within the

international informal economy with business scholarships worth up to
4
$5,000.

SECTION 2. A business institution within the informal economy shall be defined as
6
any business that does not take part in human trafficking, drug cartels, and
7
any harmful or inhumane operations.

SECTION 3. The U.S. Department of State will oversee this support and create a special
task force to solely focus on this operation in the following ways:
A. Find suitable candidate businesses that abide by the criteria set within
this bill.

B. Award scholarships to such businesses.

C. Regulate the businesses until transitioned into the formal economy or
14
until the task force deems the investment no longer feasible.

SECTION 4. This law will take effect within one year of passage.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
