 For what audience was this poem created?
 What does this poem make you think about? Does it remind you of anything
or bring back any memories?
b. Explain what poetry is in your own words
c. Define and identify the following poetic devices:
i. Figures of speech—Sarcasm, Oxymoron, Idioms, Hyperboles
ii. Sound devices—Alliteration, Assonance, Consonance, Rhythm,
Rhyme, Onomatopoeia
iii. Other poetic devices—Allusion, Imagery, Simile, Metaphor,
Personification
