Work Experience
1.
From July 1990 to February 2002 – A sole authority to work as a
copywriter, translator and editor, in a scientific and medical
instrumentation company - Fizon Instruments, Inc. – a group of 14 sister
companies involved in manufacturing and marketing equipment, software,
consumable and custom services related to scientific, electronics, biotech
and medical research. I was exclusively responsible for developing
contents, addressing specific target audience, for product catalogs,
specification sheets, safety sheets, operating manuals, service manuals,
marketing brochures, application notes, product launch materials, news
letters, news releases, annual reports and business plans.
Some of the technologies and products were outsourced from nonEnglish speaking providers and all the translation and content generation,
as needed, were among my sole responsibilities.
2.
From March, 2002 onwards – working as fulltime freelancer as translator,
proofreader, copywriter and editor. Clients include translation agencies,
companies and individuals from the USA, Europe and India.
