Spelling Practice
This is your spelling practice for the week.
Practice only 5 of the words you missed on
the pretest.
A grade will be given that corresponds to the
amount of activities you complete.

Possible Assignments:
1. Write words in ABC order.
2. Write your words 4 times in cursive.
3. Write the words and underline all the
consonants.
4. Divide each word into syllables. Use a
dictionary to help you.
5. Write the words and cross out the silent
letters.
6. Play a spelling game in class.
7. Write the words four times using a
different color pen or marker each time.
8. Use 5 or more spelling words to write
a story. Illustrate it.
9. Play a 5 word hang man game with a
partner. Have the partner sign the
game.
10. Draw pictures to represent 5 words.
Label the pictures.
11. Scramble the letters in 5 words.
Have a partner unscramble them.
12. Type each word 5 times. Use a
different font each time.
13. Write your words adding or subtracting
one letter each time. The result will be a
pyramid shape of words.
14. Ask your parents to give you a practice
test. Have them correct it and sign it.
