Theorems and Postulates Pertaining to a Triangle










The sum of all angles in a triangle is 180 degrees.
If two angles in a triangle are congruent to two angles in another triangle, then the third angles are
congruent.
The acute angles of a right triangle are complementary.
There can be at most, only one right or obtuse angle in a triangle.
Congruence of triangles is reflexive, symmetric, and transitive.
An equilateral triangle is always equiangular.
An equiangular triangle is always equilateral.
Every angle in an equilateral triangle measures 60 degrees.
If two angles in a triangle are congruent, the opposite sides are also congruent.
If two sides in a triangle are congruent, the opposite angles are also congruent.
