Division Administrator – Pediatrics Infectious Diseases and Global Health at Indiana University School of Medicine This position will serve as the administrative officer for the academic and administrative operations of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Global Health at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Primary Responsibilities Include: Administer all aspects of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Global Health such as the administration of department and school academic programs and day-to-day operations of the financial and clinical research functions. Manage IU’s Pediatric Global Health program under the direction of the division chief. Participate in all aspects of the development and conducting of large, multidisciplinary projects both domestically and with foreign partnerships that include, but not limited to, Kenya Medical Research Institute, Centre for Global Health and Child Development-Kenya, Maseno University, Global Health Uganda, and Makerere University. Identify problems, implement solutions and will be accountable for results. Coordinate the Pediatric Global Health activities with collaborators overseas and assist grants manager with global health research proposals and postaward compliance. Facilitate division academic services, academic program development and Pediatric Global Health fellowship program. Responsible for the division’s budget preparation, management, strategic planning, equipment purchasing, space utilization, and personnel management. Serve as the fiscal officer for Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Global Health. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution plus 5 years of experience in management, business, research or academic administration or healthcare experience. Foreign travel required. Preferred: Master’s degree. Experience with clinical research coordination in limited resource settings and global health projects preferred.
