Assignment #1: Write each spelling word 5 times each. Please organize each word nicely on
the page.
Assignment #2: Dictionary Part 1: Words 1-10
Include the following in order: Spelling Word, (Part of Speech): Guide Words from page
spelling word was found in the dictionary. Definition.
Note: Dictionary.com is acceptable for finding the word, however student must find each word
in a real dictionary and write the guide words for practice.
Assignment #3: Dictionary Part 2. Words 11-21. Same as Part 1
Assignment #4: Pyramids. Write each word once as a pyramid
Assignment #5: Create a short story using at least 10 spelling words.
Make sure to underline them in your story and spell them correctly.
OR Write 10 original sentences using one spelling word in each sentence.
Make sure to underline the word.
Bonus Activities:
Extra Practice and Extra Credit if completed correctly.
 Create a rhyme list: (5-10 points)
 Write each word once and write words that rhyme with it next to it.
 Crossword: Create a way to make all the words fit together
like a crossword. (10 points)
You do not need to create the questions to fill in.
