• Sipex's unique package technology
produces the industry’s smallest 8A
component, measuring a mere
7mm x 4mm.
By offering various power up protocols,
Sipex PowerBlox ICs eliminate the use of
sequencing control ICs, simplifying system
design and reducing costs. Depending on
your design requirements, you can choose
simultaneous, sequential or ratiometric power
up, using a proprietary chip-to-chip interface.

DFN package with three integrated
heat sinks for outstanding thermal

In sequential power up, VOUT1 powers up first and then triggers VOUT2 which powers
up and then triggers VOUT3.
Sequential Power Up
• Sipex’s PowerBlox family delivers from 3A
to 12A output current and supports a very
wide input voltage range of 2.5V – 28V.
• These parts offer the world’s only high
current synchronous buck regulators with
support for input voltages greater than 6V.
• Offered in frequencies ranging from 300kHz
to 1.3MHz, PowerBlox ICs support a wide
variety of applications.
